Move over Father’s Day…
Next weekend, (specifically on June 20) the Greene County Young Democrats will be busy at two events in the county.
The first is River Pride, the first annual Gay Pride event in Greene County!
Following in the example of the Manhattan Young Democrats, we have donated a website to the cause.

The schedule is as follows:
8:30am - Guided Hudson River Kayak Paddle
Paddle the DuBois and Rams Horn Creek, through lands protected by the National Audubon Society. Wildlife abounds! Bring your camera. Great for bird watching. Very easy paddle! We do have a limited amount of kayaks, PFD’s @ paddles available if you are not outfitted.

10:00am - Parade
We will be lining up in the County parking lot at 10AM with an 11AM march from Church to Bridge Streets down Main Street.
12:00pm - Music
Musical acts will be performing at Dutchman’s Landing in the gazebo, including:

After that we will be heading to an awesome party hosted by Alan Pavese and David Carney!
The event details are as follows:
The Town of Durham Democrats would like to invite you to an event at the home of Alan Pavese and David Carney on Saturday June 20th, 2009 from 4:30pm to 9:00pm, rain or shine.
The address is 5482 County Route 67 in East Durham, located about 3 miles west of Story’s Nursery on Route 67.
There is no need to bring anything except your significant others or friends. Light food and a open bar will be provided.
So come and join un on the 20th for fun all day long!
